PARAT - a medium-sized family enterprise - was found in 1945 by Heinz Schönenbach and employes now about 560 staff members worldwide at 5 building sites within the PARAT-Group.

PARAT-Werk started its busines activities with the production of bags and cases for tools. A separate enterprise developed from the traditional main activities of fabric and leather manufaction:

being today a powerful and ISO/TS certified developer and Tier-1 supplier of convertible roof systems as well as plastic interior and exterior trim parts for the automotive industry, commercial vehicles and for caravans.
